Black stuff is hard to come by. So into the stash of old pyrodex, it didn't get wet or moist, stored with other powder that's fine. It's just that there is some clumping, broke apart with a little shaking, color and smell seems fine. Burns with a lighter, what do you say?

Should be fine. Break it up good and use it. At worse case it might have lost some of it's umf. Some people have said theirs has lost power over time but I have some over 20 years old and it still works fine for me with no noticeable loose of power. It probably just absorbed some humidity.

If it works, shoot it up and then replace with Triple 7. If not, should make good cactus fertilizer!

I've experience the same thing with Black Powder and the subs crush it up and shoot, it will be fine.
