Finally bought another P14 303 to complete my collection of Enfields - 2 x M17 30.06 and 2 x P14 303 (All Winchesters). One of each is fitted with a Parker Hale 5B range sight and all have near mint bores just for shooting cast boolits! :Fire:

Was this latest one for the GREEDY or the NEEDY? That is one fine group of Enfields. Just as a matter of interest I happened to see in one of my history books a photo of Chineese troops lined up in WWII. They all had Enfields, I did a little research and there must be about 250,000 of these rifles still in storage in China somewhere. Be nice if somebody opened an old wharehouse and????

Nice collection, the target sights make all the difference shooting wise.
A mate of mine has just lucked onto an original P13 Trials rifle, the father of the P14 / M17s.

Beautiful Rifles ! I bought a P-14 and a M-17 last time up there. No regrets. Both are fine Infantry weapons... a bit heavy but sure does make a fine shooting platform.
