450 Bushmaster

I recently bought a CVA Hunter (break open single shot) in 450 Bushmaster. I would like to put together some low velocity plinking loads (approx. 1000 fps).using a 185 grain boolit and 700x powder (I like a light charge of 10 grains of 700x in my 45-70 for poking 45 caliber holes in paper). Any help would be appreciated.

Use 45 Colt cowboy action loads, they will work fine.

The 450 is not a finicky cartridge as long as you get the taper crimp correct.

I had an AR one but it didn't like boolits. Would cloverleaf 3 factory jacketed ones @100. Was told it had gain twist. Bolt guns don't and should work great.
