Probably been hashed out many times, but looking for opinions on these.
I've been reading a lot, seems to be a Ford/Chevy/Dodge kind of thing.
I'm getting ready to order one, and keep going back and forth. Been leaning towards the NOE, maybe one of the split GC/PB designs, but won't be doing any plinking or major range time with the 35, so don't really see a need for the PB. Gun is a 58 Marlin 336, strictly hunting. Have plenty of factory stuff on hand, plus 200 once fired cases, and J Word bullets. The mold isn't something I really have to have, but would just like to have one on the shelf.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

It's personal preference. Custom molds are nice but I've never been disappointed with an RCBS mold. I'm probably going to add a 35 caliber mold to my haram next year. Mine will be for the 357 Herrett.

My experience with RCBS molds generally is that they cast small if you use an alloy such as COWW+2% tin.

MicroGroove Marlins also need a bullet with a larger diameter forepart, because the multi-groove rifling is shallower.

In the .35 Remington Model 336 you will probably want a bullet which casts closer to .360 than .358.

Highly unlikely to get those dimensions with an RCBS mold. But easily possible with a custom mold from NOE or Accurate.

I have the RCBS 35-200 and a clone of that mold made of aluminum. For my 35 Rem the RCBS mold makes a bullet that is a better fit to my particular gun. Both molds are easy to cast with and make great bullets it's just that the RCBS bullets fits my gun better (TC Contender). You never know when buying a catalog mold if it will fit your intended needs. Of the 3 RCBS molds that I use the most, two had to be modified so that they would fit my chambers. It's a roll of the dice in my experience.

I have the clones from NOE, Accurate and Mihec. Don't ask why I have three of them. They all shoot well enough to be nondiscernible from each other. You can't go wrong w/ any of them. I cast w/ the NOE version the most since it rains bullets w/ ease. It's the a four cavity PB/GC.

I have both, the RCBS and the NOE. My Marlin shoots both with better accuracy than with J bullets. This is my go to deer gun and boolit.

Outpost75 :

I'm in full agreement. They do have a tendency to cast small. I avoid them.

Ordered an NOE last night, while they were still on sale. Ended up getting a two cavity.

I have the 35-200 RCBS and it's work excellently for my needs/purposes. However, I'm shooting it in 9mm so the casting on the small size is an advantage in the 9mm rifles I have.

I agree with Outpost 75 and Ben, that has been my experience with RCBS as well. You done good getting the NOE!

I have five of the 35 Rems in pumps and levers. The Lee 6-cavity feeds them all: I size .359 but could go .360 if I wanted (I no longer own a microgroove Marlin). Wouldn't trade my Lee for any of the others.
