While I was typing a thread about ML hunt, knock at the door, my niece came by to tell me they had been trying to call, my oldest brother had a massive heart attach and was on life support in Lodi Ca., not looking good!

News from the left coast tonite sounds encouraging, but still grim. Brother is awake, but they are keeping him heavily sedated, when he is more stable they will do an angigram(sp) to look at vessels repaired about four years ago- he had a quint(5) bypass, they say he has had a stroke now too. I know he won't give up, if he goes it will be clawing and holding on for all he's worth! They seem worried about the five or so minutes his brain was deprived of oxygen before they jump started him, hell that will just make it easier for him to comunicate with me, put us closer to the same wave length. I always try to look on the bright side of things. Thanks for all the prayers!

Brother is doing alot better! Out of hospital, walking and talking, still haven't determined how much of motor shills are damaged but definately minimal for seriousness, may have some vision loss also. Very lucky, now if he would throw away those damned cancer sticks, might make 70.

Yes prayer works! I also believe he could help some too, he can't give up the cigaretts and coffe! I know he had a rough time of it after the open heart surgery, quit for a couple weeks, but went right back to smoking. He will be 63 in feb, hope he has at least another 20 years, just got to quit driving those "nails".
