I was wondering if Miha had made a 640 style hp mold for the S&W 500 magnum? I have these 640 style hp molds in 357, 44, and 477, and really like the design. I think it would be great for my John Ross 500, I could cast it soft and reduce the speed and still have plenty of power for whitetail. I would hope it would weight 420-450 gr with large hp pins installed. So, any idea if this design was offered? Thanks, John.

Yes he did offer one it runs 385grs with the hollow point. I use it in my Jrh. I'll try to get a picture uploaded. For some reason I have trouble with my devices that use android.

I use a 365 grain Lee modern or improved Minie in my Handi Rifle. It is just a huge hollow base wadcutter. I have loaded it both foward and reversed. I prefer to use my regular casting alloy for a tougher bullet. I see no reason to worry about expansion. I have also read of using other Lee muzzleloader projectiles. I have only used this gun as a toy but it is fun.

I've been playing with this bullet made by Miha. The HP's are 391 grains(PC/GC) and the solids are 401 grains(PC/GC) in my alloy. I've been using CFE Black to push them. My hand is still swollen from from the 40 rounds I shot yesterday.
