As most of you know, there is a long space from the .43 Spanish brass to the rifling in a Rolling Block rifle. You can just start a lead cast bullet in the case mouth, and still not get to the bore. So, what I have done is, I took my Lee .43 sizer die, had the top end opened up, then resized .45-110 basic brass in the .43 die. Seated my bullet in the case just to the rifling. Shoot it with 15 gr. of Trailboss powder, that fire formed the case. Works great, I have shoot them 3 times for far, and see nothing that would keep me from using them again and again. I have been also paper-patching my bullets, then breach seating the round, works great.

Hey Stuffy, did you find any thing at the gun show Sunday?

Your bench is way too organized.

Found nothing but new Black rifles, NO powder, NO primers, nothing.

Did you see any improvement in accuracy over a standard .43 Spanish case? Also curious...are you neck sizing after firing?

Great project!

Yes, I did see improved accuracy with the longer brass, and no, I never resize my brass after firing, just reload them.
