One of my fellow shooters at the club has this mag and don't know what it fits. So...what's it for?207374

Sort of reminds me of the Walther 22LR magazine - you got anymore pictures of it.

Hmm, maybe not the Walther

Sorry only pic. It has no markings and a metal follower. The base is either aluminum or pot metal

Looks alot like a Colt Ace mag with an attached aluminum mag extension. There some variations of those mags thru the years, but none had the aluminum extension, from the factory. I had a 70's era Ace mint in the box and foolishly sold it a few years ago during a financial crunch. Can't afford to replace it now. Bill in MA

The Sig mag looks right. Angle isn't steep enough for a Ruger or Browning. Any chance you have a buddy with an Ace or Trailside that could do a side by side comparison?

No Ace magazine has diagonal track for the follower button

All good guesses. Problem is most .22 pistol mags look sooooo close to each other

All the aftermarket base plates seem to not look like the OP

The reason for that is that most gun designers don't want to start from scratch and design the magazine as well
which can be a lot of work to function correctly - most take an existing magazine and design around it.

Colt 9mm carbine = modified UZI = Beretta SMG mag

I,m not sure, but it looks a lot like the mag for my very early Walther Olympic target pistol. Close enough that I would be interested in buying it if he has no use for it.

I have an old Tanfolio in 380 that has a mag like that, don't know if they were made in 22.
