Anyone have a Vitamix Blender? what is your favorite thing to make in it?

Basically the title says it all, What does everyone make with their vitamix? post some of your favorite recipes.

My wife bought one and I hate it. When she fires it up it sounds like a really loud wood chipper!

I bought an older stainless steel unit at a auction.
works great for low calorie Frozen banana smoothies.

I tried making the hot soup, I wasn't as successful as the infomercial shows, so I mostly just use it for smoothies...whatever fruit I have on hand.

My wife has one, her second.

The first one was burned up by her husband in less than two minutes the first time he used it.:oops:

She does not allow him to touch the second one.

She makes lots of ground up stuff in it and I get to eat it sometimes, if I am nice.

One thing that I like, is grinding up some of a stew and pouring it back in to thicken the base.
