I saw Zenith 1911 today. It looked like a Commander sized 1911 in stainless. Wasn't priced too bad.

Anyone have experience with these?

Here's a review: http://downrangedaily.com/gun-review-zenith-firearms-tisas-1911/

Looks like your typical cut-rate import. The good news is it seems to be a 1911 clone, so you'll be able to get parts for it when it breaks.
The bad news is the importer dropped their product line and sent their inventory to be liquidated: https://zenithfirearms.com/blog/news/

Here's where the inventory is being sold: https://www.cdnnsports.com/firearms.html#category_2=FIREARMS%2FHANDGUNS&brand=1911&manufacturer=ZENITH%20FIREARMS

I see from the photos in the review that there is some sort of firing pin safety on the critter, which is a deal-breaker for me. It possibly is their own proprietary model, with no replacement parts to be had in the USA.

Thanks for bringing the subject up, and giving me the opportunity to poke around on the intertubes. Now I know if I should happen to see one, I should run away from it.

I didn't get a chance to handle or field strip the model I saw the other day.

The photos posted in the above review do seem to depict some type of firing pin block. I agree that might be a deal breaker.
