These are new old stock with lots of storage/moving dings and scrapes. From H&R - Mauser rifles with a very narrow barrel channel. Wrist checkering but no forearm checkering. Relieved for side trigger safety and hinged bottom metal. Military metal will require relieving the cross wood in front of the trigger. Paint or refinish. $40 ea + shipping. Most shipping will be around $12-$15.

I think those are some pretty nice stock for the $$....but I'm trying to thin out my projects not at to them. Year ago I would have bought them all. If I remember correctly H&R used FN actions with adjustable triggers. With a little fitting these should work with other commercial Mauser actions and with a bit more (mostly in the trigger and trigger guard area) they should work with Military LR 98 Mauser actions. H&R's deluxe grade had very nice stocks with roll over cheakpieces and some sort of grip cap and forearm tip. These are probably from a lower grade, but still a good buy...

I don't know how to tell, but I'll error on the side of caution and say hard wood.

Wondr if they would fit a Interarms MkX (Zastava) mfg?

I have an action - I'll try it.

My action is a Rem 798 (Zastava). The top half goes in and fits good. The bottom metal is a tight fit (press fit). The bottom metal wood would need to be opened up as it is a bit too narrow.

I only have 1 left.
