The power of GOD

The opening of our bible leaves the mind struggling to understand the limitless power of our GOD .

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

Where does that leave all the Christians who don't buy the genesis account of creation?

It leaves them where they already are .....no where . ??

Thunder, I think he used simple terms like ‘day’ and ‘night’ when explaining to the writer of Genesis knowing his audience (then and now) when in actuality we have no concept or idea. ...a crude example is like if God tried to explain a cell phone to Moses or even our grandparents
