Went to the range yesterday took 10 min. And within soup ladel scooped up 50# of 95% cast boolits up in one spot.

I wish I had that kind of lead at my place. I'm killing my back for about 2 hours to get 10lbs of range scrap so I do it less and less every time now. I go pick up my red lipsticks (cast red PC 45s) because those are easy to find and are heavy but digging for a while for couple 9s is not really worth it much these days. At my local recycling place I can get pure, hard and even tin bars and solder for $0.85 /lb so I buy more these days and just mix my scrap with it.

when you say recycle place do you mean those places with green and yellow bins that people take their bottles and newspapers to? or do you mean a scrapyard? and if it is the first, do they let you just take something that you can use (lead) or do you have to buy it by the lb? thanks-Travis

Sorry i was talking about local scrapyard where I buy it by the lb.
