This is an old family favorite and I feel it is good enough to share here with my friends.
I also realize this is a simple recipe and may be the same recipe as some of you may already have, but, it's still good and worth sharing.

1 can green beans - drained.
1 can yellow wax beans - drained.
1 can red kidney beans - drained.
1 onion thinly sliced.
1 pimento, diced. Any sweet red pepper will work.
1/3 cup Wesson oil.
2/3 cup white vinegar.
1/2 cup sugar.
1 teaspoon salt.
1 teaspoon black pepper.

Mix together and let stand in refrigerator for several hours.

You left out the garlic; one clove, cut and rub the bowl with the cut halves.

Pimento? You put a whole pimento in the salad?

Do you chop or dice the memento?

Thanks for sharing. I will be making this. My problem is that where I live (Central WI) there are no wax beans on the shelves of any of the 4 or 5 supermarkets that I have checked. I thought maybe they stopped growing them or something. I live 3 bean salad. I put lots of black pepper in mine ...yum
