Went to the mailbox yesterday, found the package from Midway and was ready to start an uproar about a mistaken order.
I took me a while to realize that the very nice book was a gift from Larry Potterfield to a repeat customer of Midway USA.

The book did answer some vague questions I had concerning the lack of any Midway ordering or shipping mistakes that have seemed to plague many of the other mail order houses that I have done business with over the years.

The "Coffee Table" book will, at least for a while, have a place on our coffee table.

I wonder if I log into Midway's website and put this coffee table book into the cart and then log out, if that will be enough of a hint for a Christmas present?

Same here! I too, thought it was a mistake at first, then I thought that through the many years and dozens or maybe even hundreds of orders that I've placed with Midway, I've never encountered one mistake, on their part. Treetop

Heck, considering the giant size of the Brownell's Catalog and beautiful hardbound Cabela's book I receive annually, along with how much I spend with Midway every year... I assumed they'd send me a copy for free too!

I made a large order the other day and did not get one. Considering what I have spent there over the last year I should start using a rewards card for rebates. Geez.

I got one a couple of days ago. Paged through it a bit, will spend more time after deer season.

As for who gets one and who doesn't , I don't know what the criteria is. I've ordered bucco bucks over the years, did some adding once, came up with 10K over a ten year period. But the last 5 years,(since retirement), haven't been much at all.

Be patient yours will get mailed soon, he's properly still sending books and Thankyou letters to all the Dem's in the whitehouse fer boosting their sales over the past 8 years. Maybe even suggesting sum of their over stocked, slow moving items fer a possible Ban,so the rush will get them off the shelves.
No better way to empty the stock out !
