A few week ago I got caught up in an auction for Hurricane Harvey flood donation that Springfield started. It was for a custom 1911 holster with the funds to be donated for flood relief. I lost out on the holster, but to my surprise Springfield came thru and said he would do 2 of them, I was number 2. I got confirmation that the donation was made the day I sent the funds, after the auction closed, to the Salvation Army.
During the discussion I asked could the holster be made for a Kimber Ultra Carry Crimson in 45 ACP. It was a hard choice to make to choose between a holster for a full size 1911 and the 3" ultra but I finally settled on the shorty. Let me know if you think I made the right choice. I most surly do.[smilie=w:
