1891 Argie frustration!

It has been sporterized, thus I can't use it in the military matches, and it has been cut to far down to restore, here is the frustration, jword bullets shoot POA dead center, 185g .311 boolits shoot POA dead center, 240g 8mm sized down to .315 shoot POA dead center with all loads. Isn't it frustrating when the rifles I have that haven't been messed with will not shoot near that good?
Makes me so mad I think I will take it hog hunting ARRR!!! and just think I have $50 in it maddning isn't it!!!

No.. that's just Karma for rescuing a quality Mauser from the gunrack. I'll take an old school rifle with some character over a blah rifle from a current fancy gun manufacturer.

I shoot my rifles to learn what their character is. If I had to shoot a rifle that consistently shot small groups, the appeal to experiment with it would die away and it would simply be a tool. I am always searching to improve the shotgroups or conditions of my rifles.
