OK this is a going to be used in a Savage rifle
A few years back I found a place that offered Barrels for the old barrel shank dia. , bolt heads and mag inserts
The barrel is .308 ID
Don't remember what the twist rate is ..... Might have to check
Just now got around to putting the parts on a action I had
I also would be using them in a Remington rifle ( same one a CharlesDayle and I think Interarms imported )
As I need lower noise loads to help with the Migraines :(
I had the thought
Go as heavy of a bullet as I could to still stabilize and maybe get less CRACK
LOL
I have molds that drop 180 , 200 and 210 Gr .... the last 2 I got to use in the 300 Blackout , but it would be fun to use them
Any clue of what might stabilize ? and a powder to try ?
Thanks
John
