"Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, and those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever."

—Daniel 12:3

In the book of Acts, I find it interesting how often the apostle Paul used his personal testimony when he preached the gospel. When he addressed a group of people or spoke before great leaders in Rome, he often would tell his own story.

Everyone who is a Christian has a personal testimony. The great thing about a testimony is that it’s a bridge you can build to share the gospel.

When I share my testimony, often I will say things like, “This is the way I used to view Christians,” and then I will describe how I viewed them (which was not in a very favorable light). I might say, “This is the way I used to think. . . . This is the way I used to be. . . . But here’s what happened to me. . . . Here is what Christ has done for me.”

Everyone has a testimony. Granted, some have dramatic ones. But whether a person came to faith in Christ from the lowest of the low, or whether they lived a relatively moral life, the effect is still the same. We all were sinners separated from God, going to Hell. But Christ died for us. We put our faith in Him. And we were forgiven.

Everyone has a story to tell. But whatever that story is, we always make a beeline to the cross. Christ died for us. He paid for our sins. He rose again from the dead. You know enough of this message to share it with others.

There is no reason that you cannot be used by God to point others to Jesus. The question is will you be available? Will you make yourself available to the Lord so that you might be an instrument He can work through?

Your personal testimony is your greatest asset in witnessing to the lost and confirming to other's of faith and we all have one .
