I love the leather on the butstock. I would suggest soaking them in water till they are very wet and dark in color, then putting them back on and lace them up real tight, they will shrink wrap to fit...

It is nice I have a lazy boy in there facing my rifles, so when I'm stressed I go in there and just fondle, here are 3 of my carbines, one underwood, one Winchester and one quality hard wear with all Winchester parts204508. And yes that is a Ma Duce barrel to the left of the carbines it's a spare for my Ma Duce

I have only a few.... Two Garands one was born to Winchester in April '43 (I was only 3 months old then) and the other in '54. Then there is a Romanian SKS with both the original wood stock and a synthetic which I do not like (too heavy and ugly), a pair of Brit 303's one a two groove No 4 born in Canada and the other a sporterized mixmaster with fantastic sights and a very decent trigger. I also had a Mauser 98/22 Czech BRNO made 8 x 57 which I had rebarrelled into 6.5x55 Sweede and mounted a laminated thumbhole stock. This thing will shoot 1/2" groups all day at 100 yds.206557206558206559

I usually just visit the LGS. If you buy, they're extra nice.

Tyguy95,
Nice collection. I began in 1958 and never quit buying nice stuff. I shoot most of my stuff with cast boolits here on the farm.

Guilty.... I was having issues with the follower sticking so I was working it out right before I took the pic.

I did manage to pick up this gem though today no.4 mk1 with matching numbers. Any idea on a value? Or rarity? It's stamped ROF with an L prefix before serial numberhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171001/20007a792d030858704910298752eca6.jpg
