I had an issue with a couple of barrels for my 1911 45ACP.
One was a Kart match barrel that had been set up for hardball but would not chamber a SWC boolit or any other that left any shoulder outside the case. The other was a Colt Mark IV barrel that had the same issue. I sent them both of to Dougguy to get fixed.
I took advantage of his package deal to get the barrels throated, chambered, crowned and polished.
He did an excellent job and only took a few days to complete and get them back to me.
I took them to the range today. The barrels functioned perfectly with all ammo I ran through them.
The accuracy was as good or slightly better than before with the hardball I tried. The SWC loads were even better than the hardball.

In the words of Hannibal Smith "I love it when a plan comes together"

My thanks to Dougguy for a job well done.

He did the same for my SR1911. From the factory it fed 230RN without a hitch. It would chamber the SAECO version of the 068, but would not feed them reliably.

It'll feed anything now.

I've said it before, but I had the opportunity to watch him do mine.
