Muzzleloaders and my flintlock is in production! Paid off the balance. 40 cal A wt. barrel and AA Maple.

She asked me if I wanted a matching shotgun - this is the Southern style - I told her unfortunately I can only afford one. "I feel your pain", she responded. They have one available. I didn't ask specifics.

I got one with a "B" weight barrel and love it. I know you'll be very satisfied with yours.

original .36 tvm jack garner flinter that bobby hoyt recently reamed out for me to .40 with .012 radius groove rifling. what a great gun, can shoot all day with no fouling control and if my trigger finger and eyes are working reasonable (getting harder in my early 70's) she's doggone accurate out to at least 75 yards.

Mine should look similar to that without anything fancy on it. I intend to try to make a receiver sight out of spring steel when I get it - My eyes are getting older along with the rest of me.

Beautiful rifle rfd. A trip to Friendship was never complete without visiting their booth and looking at what they had on the rack. Good folks to deal with and Jack certainly made some beautiful rifles. To me, a .40 is an ideal caliber especially if hunting small game. A good range caliber as well and easy on the shoulder!

Wayne - your are really going to enjoy that rifle when you get it and it will be well worth the wait. We look forward to pictures when you get it!

That certainly is a nice looking .40. Love the light stain.
