Does anyone know what length J.E.S. chambers the 38-55?
I'd like to know before I order brass.

Sounds like he will do whatever you want, but normally does the short length. I would ask Jesse.

I've read he uses a SAAMI chamber reamer with the smaller .376 bore. Mine measured about 2.12 on a pound cast. I use the Starline 2.082 cases and get great accuracy.

I also have a JES rebore in 38/55 and use the 2.082" brass.Although when all I could get was the longer size I bought it and trimmed it to the shorter length.
