I'm still fairly new to casting, but always ran into one issue or another. Yesterday I started casting and started with my Lee pot at the lowest temp and casted the whole time at that. No frosted bullets and bullets just fell out of the mold. I scrapped the first see off bullets to make sure mold was up too temp, however 3-4 of them looked good. I ended up having 500 perfectly bullets and only 15 throw backs. Usually for me it is about 70/30 ratio. Now I'm out of alloyed lead. Time to smelt

You are in trouble now. Once you start casting good bullets the addiction only gets worse. Enjoy and good luck.

Well I am also powdercoating, so I have been busy. I have only loaded about 250 rounds total, but I have about 700 bullets ready. So next week I have to set up press and hopefully make some good progress.

Remember that temp setting, as every mold could be different. Even a veteran caster has days where nothing works right. Congratulations on getting something working out for you!
