My buddy has one of those barrel mount chronos so we got some easy readings. 30-30 150 gr Lee fp 24.9 grs 3031 average 1817 fps 3 shots/7/8"@100 yds.
.358 200 Rcbs fp 37 grs 3031 average 2014 fps 4 shots 3-3/4"-my worst group ever with this gun. But I have excuses.
I used the lead sled well with the 30-30 and the Smelly but not the .358. I shot my buddy's RPR 6.5 Creedmoor and it is a machine. Sub moa easy. Stupid muzzle brake. Oh yeah, the SMLE aka Crustybubba put 3 Sierra 180sp 2000fps in 1-7/8" with two touching @40 yds.
That's all I could take. The lead sled saved my shoulder but I knew to quit.
So I checked my Rem 581 with CCI .22 short hp and it's dead on for bullfrogs.
A good morning indeed.

When the sling comes off it'll be nothing bigger than 22-250 for a while. Well maybe 30-30 cast.....

Have her take the batteries out of the smoke detector if you're going to shoot more than a few. ;-)

Yes, do the Rehab right, it'll frustrate you but worth doing right. I had full replacement in March, going out in the am with my lever gun to give it a go. My doc understands I shoot so we talked extensively about getting back behind the trigger gradually.

Thank you all. I want it to work so I'm following the pro's orders. I can't stop shooting so it's all lefty practice with light loads. Pistol practice is humbling but fun.

always good to work the weak side anyways =). My trigger control isn't nearly as good one handed as opposed to my normal hold.

Yes, my left hand has a mind of it's own. I even managed to bump fire a round out of my Ruger P97 .45 during a group!
No, there's nothing wrong with the pistol haha.

I'm out of boolits for the .303 after this showing. I hauled out the 30-30 for grins and it made me grin. I've just started aiming at the center of the plate instead of using a targ dot, I'm so cheap.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171016/b56c11f4fdf17f0d33915ce5f7747f40.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171016/03221660a0b6d317388af3a421449781.jpg
