Place a "Want To Buy" ad in the Swappin' & Sellin' thread, you never know what could turn up!

You do not have to "avoid" anything, just buy the pan, drippers and just do it. It took me 3 trys, first 2 I used the wrong coolant, my fault. There are lots of threads on what works and what does not. I use straight WW, cheap wally world fabric softener. Third try was a good time, did a few pounds, I was happy as a lark. Fourth try was the same result just more pounds.
You can do this, it is not hard.

..Thanks, I'm thinking I'll try mig tips for the drippers.

MIG tips are long and the thread is not very long. The pan has holes way bigger than a MIG tip. Please keep us posted on your progress.

A It is not science, it is art. You can ONLY get there by doing it and learning as you go. IMO at least.

B There are several threads here that show what myself and others have done.

C http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?318220-Shot-maker

D Learn to use the google search function. Stick with it until you can ALWAYS make it work. Will save you and many others hours of work.

E You have lots of reading to to do.

Good luck.

I made a prototype today. I'm on the right track, but not making suitable shot yet! I did get a lead on 500 lbs on 100% old ccww. Now that makes this project totally worth while.

..I worked on a bottom drip pot to melt coww today. Talked to a machinist and he is going to help me mill some drippers. I'm going to forget the mig tips for now.
