I am hunting for a mold for my Taurus Tracker-- I remember this mold had a short crimp to meplat length--I have been making my own .41 Special hulls and I know i could get some .41 hulls but would prefer to just use the normal hull -- i found one for sale BTW

I use the Lyman/Ideal 41028 and the Lyman 410610 moulds for my Taurus Tracker. They both finish at 215+/- when sized and checked as in the 410610. Both moulds are discontinued as of now but NOE has copies.

Mr. GLynn41- I have one of the RCBS .41 210 grain SWC molds. If what you are interested in knowing is the distance from the end of the crimp groove to the meplat (the distance the bullet would stick out of the brass case), I measure this as about .323". Subject to my ability to read my dial caliper. I hope this helps, GWW.
