I can hardly believe that Whitworth gave me the loins from his pig. I will never be able to make it up to him.
I found a recipe in one of my books. I had more meat then it called for so I doubled it.
6 boar chops
flour, salt and pepper
can of condensed mushroom soup and a can of water
1/2 tsp ground ginger
!/4 tsp dried rosemary, crushed
1 can french fried onions
1/2 cup sour cream
Coat chops with flour, salt and pepper mix. Brown in hot grease. Put meat in baking dish. In a separate bowl mix the herbs, soup and water. Pour over chops and sprinkle half the onions on top. Cover and bake at 350* for 50 minutes. Uncover and sprinkle the rest of the onions on top and bake another 10 minutes, uncovered.
Remove chops and add sour cream into soup mixture. Serve with chops.
I just put all the meat back in the dutch oven and mixed it.
WONDERFUL!
Thank you Marko! :drinks:
