Hi guys,
I'm looking at picking up a S&W 686 for use in an occasional IPSC match next season. I used to own a 686 and made the mistake of selling to a friend when I moved. I know the newer rules make using a 929 with 8 rounds more IPSC game friendly but I like the old school 6 cylinders. My thinking is if I don't care for revolver div I'm not stuck with a 9mm revolver that I was wishing was a .357 Mag. I am looking at picking up a Lee 358-158RF as a mold for casting mainly out of convenience. I will look into other custom molds later. I am checking into sizing dies too. I can't really slug a barrel I don't own and was thinking of picking up a .358 sizing die and hoping it will be what I need. My alloy is Lyman #2. I currently cast for 9mm, .223, .308, 12 ga Slug, #4 & 00 Buckshot so I am familiar with all the casting. Anything anyone can tell me about loading/sizing for these calibers I need to know? Molds? Brass? Loads?
Thanks guys
