I've been messing with my H&R handi rifle with the 45-70 barrel. Bore is .452", and groove is .457" giving about .0025" tall rifling. Might have to use cigarrette papers to get two wraps in that small of a space! I'm soliciting opinions as to whether paperpatching will work with this Marlin type shallow rifling?

I appreciate the encourgement to use regular cast boolits in this barrel. Does shallow rifling pose a problem for paper patched boolits?
