I can't wait to load this into my Master Caster and put it to work. It's a Magma mold that was drop shipped to Erik at Hollow Point Mold Service.

The end result is a 9mm/38-147gr HP BB NLG This is close to bullet mold porn. The quality and workmanship of this mold is incredible.

I'm hoping it shoots as well as it looks. With any luck this will be my universal .355-357 bullet that I can shoot in my Coonan 357 Magnum, Colt Python and still work well in my 9mm double stack Para-Ordnance.

I'm such a fan of Hi-Tek that all my molds going forward are going to be NLG...no lube groove. Also, for whatever reason, when you take a bullet mold, send it to Erik for him to make it a hollow point. It will come back dropping more accurate bullets than it did before. I don't know if it's a side benefit of adding a HP or Erik does something to improve the mold.

As you can see, I'm totally committed to the Master Caster...It makes it much easier for me to cast good bullets.

I've heard it has something to do with keeping the weight toward the rear of the boolit after it has been HP'd that can lead to increased accuracy.
If I'm not mistaken this is Ben's theory. (One of our members)
