If it shoots jacketed good I see no reason why it wouldn't do the same for cast. As long as the bore is in good shape.

TRM,

Yes as a matter of fact. Not only shoot them but shoot them very well. Here is a 200 meter (218 yard) group fired with my 9" FA 357 1 in 14" twist with a load that's still in progress, could even get better. The horizontal stringing of this group is due to the target swinging back & forth while shooting the group. The verticle stringing is either the load or me. Shot from the bench with a Burris 12X scope. 192 gr cast at 1490 fps, the goal of the load is 1550 fps, may or may not make that with this load.

To get an idea of group size, the target the group is on is 6 inches from belly to back and 9 inches from the chest to the butt not counting legs or head & horn. It is a standard NRA 1/2 scale 200 meter ram.

That is the standard twist rate for a .357. The only concern will be fitting the boolit diameter to your gun.

44man, my Marlin is a 1 in 16 twist, FA is 1 in 14.
