I have a Springfield 1903 A3 of early 40s vintage. Owing to a few problems I'd rather not go into I now need to find a couple of stock screws, front and back. To clarify, these are the screws front and back of the trigger / magazine assembly that hold the action into the rifle. As I'm in the UK, these are like hens teeth for availability.

I found what was needed at Numrich but they don't export any more! Can anyone recommend a source that will send to the UK?

Alternatively, can anyone help with thread specifications? In the long run it might actually be easier to make them myself. I'm no engineer, but I know a man who is, and most taps and dies can be found on the net.

Or you could purchase them and have them sent to a shooter here, who could then re-ship them to you. We're talking screws, not spy surveillance gear for Russian voting hacking. Making them locally may be an option as long as you're not picky about the rifle being 100% original.

I found mine on Ebay. If that helps you.
