I have a Lyman lube sizer and would like to change the lube from Moly to BP lube.
What is the best way to do this?
Thanks

Use a heat gun to melt the old lube out.

I know people will boil all the old stuff out when they refurb them, if yours is in need of an overhaul that could be an option. Otherwise I think his suggestion or the wifes blow drier would work great

I like to boil em out. Don't use a rolling boil for a long time or it'll bubble the paint off.... but a good steaming light bubble/boil will float most of it out. It helps a good bit if you swirl some Dawn in the water while it's hot.

Take it apart and semi boil in hot water/ dawn. Hair dryer will get most out and new lube will push out the rest. Just depends on how well you want it cleaned.

I don't change lube often but I usually just put the new lube in and live with the mix until the old lube is gone. Or size a bunch of reject bullets for a remelt. When I rebuilt mine I used a heat gun. Be careful with the Wife's hair dryer, they are not made for heavy use.

Why would they need rebuilt? I like the heat gun idea, Ill just dig out the old lube if there is to much.
Thanks

I wonder if boiling will take the moly out????
I've never used moly.
Is it like bees wax lube just with moly in it????
