We've had two plane crashes in the last few months.
This past week four people died.
Last on four people hurt. Tow really bad, tow not so much.
Same company owner both planes.

Had another plane, that they can't find, a few months ago.
Three people on that one.

Don't remember so many crashes in the past.

We just had one crash a few days ago. It was a light plane with four people aboard. Crashed right in the middle of I-15. All aboard died.

I would say he is going to get to know the FAA very well here in the near future.

That's not likely. These sound like pilot error to me. Nothing in the article indicates otherwise. One of the things that jumps out is that the wreckage is in "mountainous" terrain. The flight was at night. It is evident that this is Controlled Flight Into Terrain or CFIT. The fact that this airplane had an alternator problem, which was subsequently repaired, has no bearing on this accident.

I wasn't aware of the plane crashes, (haven't been in Honolulu for awhile). But heard about the fire in the giant (36 stories, 586 unit) Marco Polo building across the canal from Waikiki. 3 people dead. That's also something we don't see often.
