I'm looking for the vintage type that has the mold built into it in either 44 WCF or 45 Colt.

Let me know what you have and your price. I do not mind paying good for a nice one!

I have a nice one in .38-40, which I've used to load a few boxes. It works well, although I haven't tried the mould yet. Hard part is to find one with the original decapper.

Good luck with your search.

Most of the time the decaying shank/pin that slides into the shell casing to perform the de=priming operation has been lost unless you happen to luck out and find one that has it. It really isn't that big of a deal though as they can be fairly easily made by someone with a lathe. If a person doesn't have access to a lathee, there are number of fellows on here that do a good job of machining and could easily turn one out if given the needed dimensions. If you have the tongs and a shell casing, it shouldn't take much to figure out the OD needed, the length of the shaft and he length of the pin. Most had a screw on the side at the pin end so that pins could be changed if bent/broken.

Although neither authentic nor elegant, a Lee Case Length Gage makes a very functional stand-in for almost always missing decapping pins. Most use them as is, but I think that a little brass acorn nut on the threads protects both tools.
