Prayer Request, Please

Asking for prayers for someone who used to be very close to me.

This person is facing a struggle that I can only imagine how powerful it is. They are going to lose everything, maybe even their life, if they can't overcome what they're facing.

I've been praying constantly, but as someone who has felt the power of prayer in numbers, I'm asking you to join me in asking God to help this person get the help they need.

I haven't been here for a few days, but always pray for those new requests that are received here. Prayers up for this friend, and all who care about him/them. Praying for a good outcome for all. And let's not forget that even in the deepest adversity, there's reason and benefit to be had, even if it's not the things we'd choose of our own volition. Adversity CAN be our greatest asset, if we'll just let it be. None of us "deserve" an easy life. If we have one, we're deeply and richly blessed. Those who receive challenges instead of what they really want, are being tested, and have an opportunity to show their courage and faith and trust. It's when we're down that we LEARN to be strong and steadfast. God bless all of you, even in the midst of dire trials.

Father God. We come to you to lift up Jeff's friends to you. We pray that you will intercede in their life and give them what they need to get through this trying time. You know their needs and you have the power to get them through this. We pray that through this time that you would show them your mercy and grace. We come together and pray that you would show yourself to them and that they would rest in your caring love. Please be with Jeff and show him your love as he sees his friends going through this.
