Could possibly have a lead on a SBH 7.5" blue in 44MAG in a trade. Said it has had a few rounds through it and has never been caried. Wish me luck!:-D

Good luck, I'd like to get a SBH or one of the Blackhawk Hunter models.

Good luck! I've had a few of them...and got lucky on the longer barrels...they don't have a real high round count in most cases. You can usually find a used one in the larger shops, but lately they've been scarce in any barrel length.

You always hear the story of a gun with 6 or 12 empties in the accompanying box of ammo, but never from the individual who got that deal. My closest encounter was a blue 44 magnum VAQUERO with no turn line...and for $350 out the door.

A HUNTER or a BISLEY is a sweet shootin' gun too.

I bought a 29-2 4" mod with the only box of ammo it had thru it . I do believe they were Rem- Peters in the yellow blue box . The original owner bought it it recoiled to much the when he passed on his son got it then tried it out I think there was 18 or 24 shot total . The only drawback was the cardboard box was smoshed and tattered. I gave 45 lc Ruger Bisley and some coin for it.

I got it! It has a turn line, but it is real tight and it came with 150 rds ammo.http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/mm243/Evansguns/102_1784.jpg

Since you're in Georgia, you need to call Jim Stroh at ALPHA PRECISION in Comer and get on his waiting list....about 6 months. He'll do a super action job for about $125. I drove 1300 miles round trip from St Louis to drop off several guns and then pick them up 3 weeks later. The man is an artist.

If the present grips suit you, you're good to go. Otherwise look at EAGLE GRIPS Gunfighter model or some of Caryc's fine grips for fine traditional type grips.

Get a loading outfit and find a load you like...ENJOY

Trigger's not too bad right now. I like the grips. Wasn't sure if I was gonna, but do. Had a SBH years back that had the wood. Beat me to death! I have a few loads in mind to play with. I have a couple 44 Molds now so I may jump on it here real soon.

i picked up a stainless 44 mag sbh 7.5 inch and a stainless 45 colt blackhawk in 7.5 inch at the lafayette indiana gunshow whis weekend for $ 275 each and just missed a pair of single six's in presentation cases for $250 each

i was wanting a 45 colt blackhawk for a while and the 44 was too good of a deal to pass up
