A friend sent this 10 minute video to to me. It looks great and believable, but so is any good con.

I have no real opinion as yet, just wondering what others are thinking.

It's not a new theory. Young Earth creationists have been putting forth that theory for many many decades, and when you look at the nature of plate tectonics , It's a theory that fits very well. When you think about it, the Hydro plate theory is still in action, Even though the plates are now riding on a liquid that consists of molten rock.

I didn't watch your video,(bandwidth issues) but I did search hydroplate theory, my take is the flood of Jeremiah Chapter 4 would fit quite well, it destroyed everything.

Jer 4:23-28 KJV I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light. (24) I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly. (25) I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled. (26) I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the LORD, and by his fierce anger. (27) For thus hath the LORD said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end. (28) For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

This is not a description of Noah's flood, read the "I behelds" , a good deal different than the flood of Noah.

FWIW, That is my take, it is also my take that this flood is what caused the condition of Gen 1:2, because God did not create the world in vain, but to be inhabited, Isa 45:18 and is also why the word replenish was used in Gen 1:28, 9:1.

Pretty amazing. Wish I had another hundred years, things could get interesting with a complete scientific paradigm shift.
