WTS Pewter/tin mini-muffins (Sn)
> Price is $62 shipped for 5 LBs or $117 shipped for 10 LBs.
> I currently have six (6) five LB boxes for sale.
> Can do less than 5 LBs in a box, $11 per LB + $7 shipped via USPS SFRB.
I have Pewter Tin (Sn) mini-muffin ingots for sale, from modern US and
European food service grade pewter items that were hall marked "Pewter".
Pewter is typically at least 94% Tin (Sn), sometimes more.
These pewter ingots were cast in small mini-muffin pans (see pic),
about 3 to 4 oz each, about 3/8" thick, and the diameter of a 50 cent piece.
They are bright, clean, shiny, and well fluxed.
These ingots are a convenient size to add to your casting pot to increase your
mold fill out and harden your mix a bit.
FYI
3 Oz of tin added to 10 LBs of pure lead comes to 1.8% tin in the total mix.
4 Oz of tin added to 10 LBs of pure lead comes to 2.4% tin in the total mix.
Please note that, if you have a multi-pound tin ingot from somewhere else,
you will have to re-smelt it or cut it into smaller chunks in order to use it
to get about 2% tin in a 10 or 20 Lb pot of lead.
Price is $62 shipped for 5 pounds shipped in a USPS SFRB (Small Flat Rate Box).
10 pounds fits in one SFRB so it will be $117 shipped for 10 LBs,
so you save the cost of a 2nd SFRB if you buy 10 LBs :)
Payment:
PayPal (preferred and much quicker turn around)
OR
US Postal Service money order
Sorry, @@@@ I cannot take checks or any other kind of money order @@@@
Please PM me with your order :)
Thank You!
