Happy 4th! Every please remember to be safe, no drinking and driving, no drunk grilling, and definitely don't blow your fingers off. Old fireworks are very dangerous so make sure to use what you got and don't save any for next year. God bless America and all those who have served.

Hope you all had a great Independence Day. We were blessed with a nice gathering. It started out expecting two friends and grew into their entire extended family of about 14 kids and adults. It was the biggest gathering we've had at this house. These people have become like family over the years so it was a great day in many ways. We grilled too much food, played, talked and had a great time, wrapping the day up by watching the city fireworks display from the back of our property.
