I have a bunch of old USA made optics. B&L, Argus, Unertl, USGI binocs/etc. Can't help myself !
Recently I acquired a Unertl spotting scope with a 45 degree objective. Unertl made many straight and ninety degree spotters and the famous 100mm team scope, but I'm told very few of the 45's , maybe just one year. Anybody have an old catalog showing 'em ?

I used the 100mm "Team Scope" by Unetl often on military rifle teams. No better scope for a team coach available for such an activity.

I currently have two spotting scopes, a light and sealed Leupold for field use and an old B&L for range use. Both are just tops for high power shooting.

I often use my spotting scopes for either bird watching or astronomical viewing.

My old B&L 20X. Tank tough and heavy, but optically almost perfect and with a long eye reliever for those wearing glasses. In the 60s when I started shooting seriously, this was state of the art and it still performs as designed.
