Why would anyone want to deal with the Devil?

I read the back of the book .. WE WIN ...
a sticker can easily be changed

Although I will say I thought it was a poor choice to name a product to sale .

I've thought about buying one, but the last time I heard about anything from them, the buyer waited months for their pot. Since then, I've not heard anything from or about them. Almost as if they have gone belly up and moved out without notice.

I have one and I like it should have bought a larger capacity ( mines a 45 lb pot ) I like it because I can pour directly into my ignot molds . I also use a dutch oven which gives me more capacity however I have to hand ladle into my molds . Pro's shelf that lets you pour right onto mold no hand ladle. Con's expensive and long wait on order .

Looks like their website is gone as well. I got it from their now stripped facebook page, http://satanslittlesmelter.com/

Thats a shame, it looked like a decent unit. I thought it was a little pricey, but nothing is cheap anymore. I would have liked to have a large one.

It was a great idea, the price put it out of the reach of most of us. I use a dutch oven that holds ~120 lbs. It cost me $20. The turkey fryer was $40. A Rowell ladle was another $30.

A SLM in the same capacity range was over $500. Way too rich for me. I smelt down at least 1000 lbs per year. There's no way I could justify the cost.

yes I think the price was too much for most folks..
just might be the reason they are gone .. not too many sales
I did like the design as well

I bought a 100lb model for $450. It has been 5 weeks now. He said it was complete...but still no tracking number or shipping info.

I hope it comes through cause $450 is a lot of money.

Btw, I just emailed satanslittlesmelter@gmail.com

I think he has a regular machine shop and his primary business has priority over the smelters...he makes the smelter's as time permits.
