A friend brought his new Dutch oven and ask me what I thought of it. Never said a word to him just went in the shop and got a pair of linemen pliers and cut the bail off. Made him a new heavier bail. The bail on this one was not heaviy enough to lift the pot empty let alone full of lead or at least put a spot of brass or weld the eye so it can't open up when moving it full of alloy.
