The Peach Man came buy today while I was waiting on my MBH (much better half) and I couldn't resist.

Have a blessed day,

Leon

I'm jealous. UP north here mine are only the size of a marble right now.

I had 250 peach trees about 10 years ago. Oak root rot killed them. There is nothing like a peach that is ripened on the tree. To be ripe, the bottom of the peach has to have color. Most of the store peaches are picked too green. Get your peaches from someone local.

Cut in half, remove the pit and grill cut side down. Good that way or with ice-cream dried with Kailua or Creme de Cacao.

No need to gild the lily.

All a good peach needs is a scrub with a plastic pot scrubber to knock off the fuzz (a lot of peach taste and aroma is in that peel.) and sliced small enough to keep the juice in my mouth, not my whiskers.
