Buffalo Arms 446-545grain money bullet

Any one shoot this bullet in a 1-18 twist 34 inch Badger barrel ?

if that is a 0.446" pp bullet, I do in a 32" badger barrel.
with 8 lb seth cole it patches to 0.451" which is 0.001 bigger than my badger barrels bore diameter and a little tight to load a cartridge.
it is easily breech seated with a palm seater.
it is incredibly accurate breech seated with the correct airgap with the 45/2.4" case droptubed with 100 gns of swiss 1f and a 0.060" poly wad to just fill the case level.
for fixed ammo I would prefer a 0.445" bullet and the same paper in my badger barrel.

What cartridge are you planning to shoot that bullet in? It's a wee bit long for long range work in a 45-70. the .446 525 works like a champ in the 45-70 and 45-90.

I swapped some bullets for the 446 545 MB and tried 100 in my Browning BPCR that had a Badger barrel and also in my other rifles, Shiloh and Douglas barreled rifles and like Bruce said they are a tight fit in all using .0018" paper. That diameter is ideal if you breach seat the bullets but my thumb hurt seating them in the Shiloh's and ended up using a cartridge seater to get the breach closed. They shot OK in the .45-70's and the 90's from the little I worked with the 100. I ended up ordering the 444 540 M and it is a great shooting bullet. It drops out of the mould 534 gr using 1/16 T/L alloy.

I have the 446545 bullet but only shoot it in a 1:16 twist .45-90. It works pretty well for long range. It's likely too long for using for Creedmoor in a 1:18 twist.

I've shot the 444540 that Kurt mentions and it works quite well out of one of my .45-110's to about 900 yards. I haven't shot it past that. It works very well to midrange or the ram line out of my .45-70 using 82gr of powder. It's also a bit long for a 1:18 twist though I think for Creedmoor distances.

For 1:18 twist, if you are looking for a 446 I suspect you'd be better off with the 446535M bullet. I think it's 1.45" or 1.46" long if I remember correctly.

Chris I shot that 444-540-M in my 18 twist .45-70 Shiloh and it did quite well on the Buffalo at Raton that is around 1100 yds. I wouldn't be afraid using it for the Creedmoor.
