Hi, are they in Helidon or the general area? I am always going to Toowoomba.

They are called "Combat Simulation Systems" and yes they sell black powder direct to the public @ around $47/kg but you have to buy 10kg at a time.

Is there a limit in Australia to how many pounds of black powder you can buy at one time?

You need to get a couple of friends to pool together, the grade can be mixed i.e. 2x3F, 4x2F etc. but I usually buy 10kg at a time without problems.

$470 for 22 lbs In Aus $Dollars I would guess. With out looking, I am not sure how that converts. On the face of it, It sounds about like USA prices.

Not sure why my initial post was removed but regardless, Karl at CSS Sydney advised me that 10kg is allowed, not sure if that's 10kg per purchase or 10kg that you can own at any one time?

Okay, with the exchange rate, that is about the same as we pay. The difference is the exchange in all goods coming to AU.... I am sorry to say.
Thanks for the info.
We paid about $65 in US dollars in South Africa for 2.2lbs (Kilo) in 2006. They would package half in the same one pound plastic bottle we get. I took one home for the novelty. A little bit different label.
