Was getting bored yesterday and started thinking how much 6 shot would fit in this cartridge. So I dropped 18 gr of unique in followed with paper patch and 320 gr of 6 shot with a tight wad on every thing. I think somewhere
I heard of shot could smash together and cause a restriction in barrel but I don't remember any more of it. So I set up a big 50x50 inch piece of paper with a 10 inch blue circle in middle. Step back about 23 paces and let er rip! Center of hit is right at top of blue circle and I aimed for middle. No hole in target just a funny looking 36 inch spread of shot. I counted almost 50 shot in a 16 inch diameter center of blue.I thing with 4 shot this thing would give a turkey the hurts out to 30 yard. This could be a one gun does it all for me if I could get a nice lazy load to shoot the sparrows off the bird house. I wonder how far a roundball would go shooting at the bird house? I never will try it but it does make me think!
