I did some digging and it seems these are the preferred case for bulls eye shooting. Are these cases with the double groove about half way down that much weaker then a regular cases? Like some articles I've read.

Thanks

They have thinner walls to a deeper extent than most standard load cases. This is to keep the case from swaging the base of the long hollow base wadcutters down.
They were designed for lighter pressure loads. Although they will withstand full power loadings, they probably won't last as long at full power as standard cases.
They really do give somewhat better accuracy with wadcutters than standard cases.
When loaded light as designed, they normally last a really long time.
