Could one use a mold for 40 SW or any other common mold in this range for slugs?

Blood Trail, a cast .358 dia. soft bullet inserted in a Claybuster .410 wad shot well for me at 25 yds. Just make sure you can push it through your choke without too much resistance. I think a .40 might be too large in a shotcup, but might work seated on top of some type of over powder wad. Anyone else tried this?

Both Lee 410-195-SWC and TL410-210-SWC, for the 41 Magnum work very well in a Saiga .410 shotgun. They are also perfectly stabilized when a Saiga factory rifled choke tube is used.

Depends on your choke. My Rossi .410 is modified, and mikes .395". I use .356" 155 Gr wadcutters
